Sanford L. McQuigg's Obituary
Funeral services for Sanford L. McQuigg, age 90 of Henderson, will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at 10:00am at the Henderson Metro Church with Rev. Nathan Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home. Mr. McQuigg was born August 16, 1928 in Higgins, TX to Joseph Henry and Okla Irene McQuigg. He was a member of the Henderson Metro Church and a retired Superintendent for City Service Gas Company, former school board trustee, and a member of the Texoma Fire District Auxillary. He was preceded in death by his wife Amanda in 2016, his parents, son Kerry McQuigg, brother Henry Eugene McQuigg, sister Rita Steduem, and an infant girl. Survivors include son Kevin McQuigg and family of Tulsa, OK, daughter Sandra Comer and family of Henderson, son Kirk McQuigg and family of Henderson, daughter Sherry Souther and family of Albuquerque, NM, sister Jolene Neu and family of Shawnee, OK , brother Theron McQuigg and family of Trenton, NJ, sister Idelma Dunnihoo and family of Shattuck, OK, sister Daisy Bennett and family of Quitman.
Pallbearers will be Jesse McQuigg, Dustin McQuigg, Arlen McQuigg, Jay Watson, Rylee Sanderson, Camden Watson, Landon Kinnard, Josh Green, Roy Byrd and Mark Davis. Visitation will be from 9:00am until service time at the Church.
