Sandra Kay Hudman's Obituary
SANDRA HUDMAN
Our sweet Sandra earned her "angel" wings on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 after an automobile accident. She was on her way to church, but God had other plans. He called her home to worship in His heavenly kingdom.
Sandra was born to Billy Joe and Betty Sue Hudman on August 10, 1956. She married Robert Hodges in 1975 and they bore two children, Heather and Jonathan Hodges. She is also survived by her precious mother, Betty, Jonathan's wife Phyllis, three sisters, and their husbands Melinda and Larry Whitehurst, Jane and Tommy Hughes, and Cindy and Matt Adams and her grandmother, Winnie Haney.
Sandra also had five grandchildren, Manny, Nicholas, Shelby, Savannah and Eliana. Sandra was preceded in death by a son, Robert Avery, her father, Billy Joe Hudman, grandparents, Turner and Pearlie Hudman and Cleve Haney, and niece, Alyssia Jolie Poss.
Sandra also leaves many nieces, cousins, and nephews who all loved her. Her very special friend was Ronnie McAdams.
Sandra was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. She was a 1975 Hallsville graduate. As a child, Sandra enjoyed swimming, softball, climbing trees, skating, riding horses and miniature golf. She was the life of the party anywhere.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Little Flock Baptist Church and will be officiated by pastor's John Sullens and Leon Veazey. Pallbearers are Shane Whitehurst, Jeremy Whitehurst, Jason Mackey, Joey Rogers, Mark Humphrey and H.L. Luman.
