Sally Lynn Coker's Obituary
Memorial services for beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, Mimi, teacher and friend, Sally Lynn Stamm Coker, 60, of Gladewater will be 12 noon on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dick Dobbins officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday September 3, from 5:00- 7:00 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview as well. She passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Gladewater.
Mrs. Coker was born in San Bernardino, California on May 25, 1950 to Lt. Col. Eugene and Mary Bettye Stamm. She loved collecting antiques, baking, gardening, spending time at their lake house, and most of all being with her grandbabies. Mrs. Coker taught special education for over 30 years at Longview I.S.D. and was like a mom to many special needs kids over the years.
She is preceded in death by her sister Valerie Stamm. She is survived by her husband Thomas E. Coker of Gladewater; son and daughter-in-law Ryan L. and Krystal Coker of Gladewater; daughter and son-in-law Ragan L. Coker and Oscar Aguilera of Keller, TX; parents Lt. Col. Eugene and Mary Bettye Stamm of Ft. Worth, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Belinda Stamm of Ft. Worth; Richard Stamm of Ft. Worth, Bud and Annette Stamm of Ft. Worth; four grandchildren Matthew, Ava, and Elise Aguilera and Hudson Coker; special cousin, Marie Sanderson, in addition to many nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends including Steffie Nichols and Ginger Pritchard.
