What a privelege it was to work with Sally for a few years at IMA. Her sense of humor and the laughter shared with her are definitely memories I will always cherish. She will be missed by many but comfort comes by knowing she is in a better place...Di my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.##imported-begin##Carla Smelley##imported-end##
Sally was a wonderful giving lady. In the short time I knew her I grew to love her. She was a real sweetheart and will be missed tremendously by all who had the privelege of knowing her.##imported-begin##Nancy Pratt##imported-end##
Donny,
Cathy Edmondson Clarke just shared the news of your mother's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences - I will keep you and the rest of your family in my prayers. You are to be commended for your care of her in her final days. Her obituary was beautiful, and she sounded like a truly wonderful person - one obviously very proud of her children, above all else. May she rest in peace and in God's hands for all eternity.##imported-begin##Terri Anderson Simpson, LHS Class of '86##imported-end##

We were a good team 'on the phones'....after I moved, we burnt the phone lines up talking....now, apart, the 'lines of memory' will carry the message of devoted friendship....God bless you, her family, find comfort in knowing that we will be with her again.......and the phones to Heaven are never busy.##imported-begin##Susan T.##imported-end##
What a blessing she was and what a privelege I had to work with her at IMA. Sally always had such an upbeat and uplifting spirit and always had a smile on her face and kind words to say. She definitely made the world a better place and now heaven has another beautiful angel. She will truly be missed by my self and many many others. To Diana, her brothers and sisters and the rest of the family, my heart goes out to you and my thoughts and prayers are with you always.##imported-begin##Teresa Williams##imported-end##
I worked with Sally for nine years. In those years we spent many many moments laughing. Two grown women giggling like silly school girls. I loved it!! When she retired I never stopped missing the laughter. Thankfully I have so many personal memories to cherish. We shared a common bond in our love for our mothers..and when mine died recently I received a card from Sally. Her written words provided me so much comfort and I want to share an excerpt of her card with her family in hopes it will bring some peace to you, as it did me, in these most difficult of days,
-"We can never be separated from those we love because we have memories to hold and love that doesn't pass away. In time we realize that our loved one lives on within our hearts."-
I consider myself blessed to have known Sally. I will never forget how her unending sense of humor and kind spirit touched my life.

Sal not only raised her five children, but her children's friends as well. Sal was like a second mother to me as I know she was to others. She would light up the room with her smile and laughter. She was truly an amazing person and will be greatly missed.##imported-begin##Layne Wickersham##imported-end##
