S. J. Tipton's Obituary
Services fo S. J. Tipton, 89, of Longview will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Burial will be 4:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma uinder the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Tipton died Thursday at a a local hospital.
He was born June 17, 1918 in Marietta, Oklahoma and had been a a longtime resident of Longview. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was employed by Axelson Corpporation.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Tekansik of Longview; a grandson, Jerry Bell of Longview; a sister Euince Benton of Dallas and several nieces and nephews.
