Ryan A. Rowan's Obituary
Funeral services for Private Ryan A. Rowan, 18, of Longview and Ft. Stewart, GA, will be 12 Noon Wednesday, April 26, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Schulik officiating. Interment will be in the Houston National Cemetery on Thursday at 11 AM with full military honors. The family will greet friends 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ryan died Tuesday, April 18, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. At his death he had elected to save other peoples lives by organ donation.
A native of Longview, he was born June 9, 1987 and attended Gilmer High School. Ryan was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. One of his proudest achievements was when he became a member of the US Army.
He is survived by his father and step mother: Jim and Brenda Rowan of Longview; mother: Margaret Davis of Houston and a brother: Chris Rowan of Longview
