Debra:
I saw Terri Clement at lunch today 7-14-08...and I asked her about your mom. I am so sorry, I did not know that she had passed away. I decided to get on Rader's website to see if it would let me search. I found Rutha. YOU KNOW I have such fun memories of staying at your house and of your mom. Our moms sewed leather skirts for us RED and they made us all kinds of matching stuff. We camped and skiied at the lake, we roller skated and she bought us eye shadow at Brookshires. She had that long Cadilac and those sweet little poodles. I loved her and always thought she was the prettyist MOMA around. We had fun spending the night with each other and Rutha made my times such a memory at your house. I loved her and I love you. I'm so sorry this is a year late.

We were in Virginia last summer when this happened and I guess that's why I didn't see it in the paper because I would have been there for you.

To the family of Ms. Rutha,

Your sweet mother and grandmother took loving care of our oldest two children, William and Adeline, when they were babies. She babysat many hours in our home, and I was also confident that they were receiving the most loving and kind care possible from a sitter. Ms. Rutha also had a sweet affection for our little poodle, "Apricot Rose," who passed last summer at the age of 16. Rutha would care for Apricot when we were out of town, and I always knew Apricot would be spoiled rotten from Rutha's love and care when we got back! I know you loved your mother and grandmother very much, and I know she loved all of you. Austin, I remember how very dear you were to her. You were her shining star, and now she will be your shining star in Heaven. May sweet Ms. Rutha rest in peace. I know our Father had a very special place in Heaven for her.

Terri, Debbie, Mark & Austin,

Rutha sure was a special lady & I'm sad to hear of her passing. She was one of the best parts of my childhood and I've got nothing but good memories of her. She treated every one of us kids as if we were her own and we all loved her for it, I know I did. She was one in a million and she's going to be missed. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

Terri, Debbie, Mark and Austin...
Rutha has a always will hold a special place in my heart. Though I have not seen her she made such a big impact in my life as I was growing up. Running next door when I got home from school to see her and see what she had cooked was one of the best memories I have of her. She always had something special to give any and every one of us girls and we will miss her so much. May God be with you and the family through this time of need. You are in our thoughts and Prayers.
