I guess it's a good thing that I check the Longview paper periodically. I have thought about you all many times over the years and wondered about Ruth and how she was. I am so sorry for your loss and mine but know that she is in a far greater place and reunited with so many. I loved her and Mac - they were family. Oh what great memories we have of the past. Ruth McAuley is dear to my heart. As my student teaching mentor in 1966, Mrs. McAuley saw my potential to be a good, caring teacher even though I was somewhat shy.
