Ruth Irene Privett's Obituary
Ruth Privett was born in the little country town of Muhlback Germany to Richard and Paula Hoering on November 5, 1937. After graduation Ruth worked at the US Military base cafeteria as a kitchen aid and there met Hugh Privett, a Sargent for the US Military stationed in Germany. They married on April 27, 1957 in Muhlback Germany. She was a military wife and supported her husband for 11 years until he retired. They finally settled down in Queen City and Atlanta, Texas in 1975.
She was a faithful wife of over 50 years. She was a loving mother who literally gave her life to serve others. She always had a smile through good times and bad times and would give good advice to do right. She was a respectful and humble woman. To all of us that knew her, she was a gift of the Lord that served her purpose and so touched all our lives forever.
She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children, Ronald & wife Kim Privett of Longview, TX, Carol & husband William Talbot of Dryprong LA, Robert Privett of Hallsville, TX, John Privett of Houston, TX and Tina Green of Longview, TX, 9 grandchildren, Misty Smith, Andy Privett, Paula Talbot, Mickey Privett, Nicole Privett Holly, Joshua Green, Brady Green, Carmen Green, and Peyton Privett plus 6 great-grandchildren.
