Ruth P. Glasgow's Obituary
Funeral services for Ruth P. Glasgow, 94, of Longview, will be 1 PM Wednesday, December 3, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Reverend Kenneth Wardlaw officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Tuesday 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glasgow passed away November 30 in a local nursing center.
A native of Vanceburg, Kentucky, she was born January 18, 1914 to William and Lucy Plummer. Ruth lived in Longview for the past 62 years where she was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband Dick Glasgow, her parents and a brother Harry Plummer.
She is survived by a daughter: Mary Lee Link and husband Tom of Stuart, Iowa, son: Steve Glasgow and wife Dianne of Longview, grandchildren: Tim and Steve Link, Holly Freed, Heather Berg, Scott Glasgow, Stacy McClellan and Kelley Mayeux and twenty four 24 great grandchildren.
