Dear Family !
I want to thank all of you involved in organizing Mama Ruths funeral service. Once again the great distance made it impossible for me and my family to be there with you and to attend it. Nevertheless we have been with you and especially with Mama Ruth in our thoughts in these last days. We will certainly miss her, but she remains with us in memories of good times we spent together. We also know, that in a way she was finally relieved of a long and painful struggle during the last months of her life, and this lightens the sadness of having to say good bye.
Love, Theresa, Michaela & Jim.##imported-begin##Jim##imported-end##
Dear Kathie, Ed, Mom, Kim, Jana and Junior Russells,
Sorry I can't be there with you today to say goodbye to my grandmother, who made me eat spinach and put curlers in my hair against my will ! when I was little, but who more than made up for that with her fine sense of humor, peppermint candies and by always letting me beat her at Canasta...
Love,
Jenny##imported-begin##Jenny Gredler##imported-end##
Dear Kathy and Family,
What a wonderful person Ruth was!!!
I'll be out of town today, so will be unable to attend the service.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.
It's always nice to read about someone with Ruth's character and how she contributed to others where ever she lived.
Love,

There are many wonderufll memories. Chi Omega sisters, we shared all those wonderful attributes. We loved running into Ruth in Europe in the 80's, a treasured moment. A wonderful legacy for all of us. We send love and prayers. Penny and Mike Macey##imported-begin##penny and mike macey##imported-end##
Kathie: I am sorry that Bailey and I will be out of town this evening and this weekend. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I thought the obituary was wonderful and I felt that your Mother was truly a woman ahead of her times. She was a strong and independent lady.
I will be in touch with you soon. You can always remember that you were the best daughter that I have ever known. Love, Nancy Salmon##imported-begin##Nancy Salmon##imported-end##
I popped in Tuesday week ago to take Ed Haloween love
gift from the Curch. He told me Mrs. Gorman was not doing well at all and Sharon was here. I am sorry I have not been up to visiting her as I did before I had
major surgery. I loved Ruth dearly and I will forever treasure happy Memories of her. Warmed my Heart to read abut her and all she had done when she was able. She was a beautiful friend. I join her in being so very proud of all of her family. And, I join her Family in being so proud of her. Again, I loved Ruth and I love each one of you dearly.##imported-begin##Millie Harper##imported-end##
