Graveside services for Ruth M. Tracy, 88, of Longview will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, September 26, 2002 at the Hallsville City Cemetery with the Reverend Randy Hageman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She died Tuesday morning, September 24, 2002 in Longview. Mrs. Tracy was born June 21, 1914 in Austin, Texas. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville. She was a longtime member of the church quilting group. Mrs. Tracy was preceded in death by her husband, A. R. Tracy and brother, Jimmy C. Rumsey. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Kit, Sr. and Jane B. Tracy of Atlanta, GA.; grandsons, Joe Tracy and his wife Nancy and Thomas K, Jr. and his wife Jennifer all of Atlanta, GA.; great grandchildren, Thomas K. Tracy III and Hanah Jane Tracy both of Ashville, N. C. and Jack Tracy and Emma Tracy both of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Bill Rumsey and John Norris Rumsey of Austin; sisters, Ann L Riewe and Betty Jo Shaw of Austin.
