Ruth Mrs. D.C. Long Memorial services for Ruth Long, 83, will be held Thursday, September 11 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Henderson. The service will be preceded by a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Cemete Read Obituary
Though Ruth had many talents, I remember her cooking skills. She brought a banana pudding with golden brown meringue hot out of the oven to a church supper. I had never seen such. Was delicious--got the recipe, as do others. It's hard to lose dear ones, but I think the memories keep them among us.##imported-begin##Gay Allen##imported-end##
What a great lady! I enjoyed the Dicsiple class with your Mom so much. She always had a funny to share. And she knew her Bible!
