Ruth Henry Dickson
Dickson, Ruth Henry age 79 of Henderson, Texas, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, at her daughter?s home in Plano, Texas. Ruth was born April 11, 1927, in Concord, Texas, to Clarence and Ethel Mama Ethel Henry. Ruth is survived by sister, Ruby Spence of Good Springs, Texas, and deceased brother, Lawrence Henry of Gainesville, Texas.
Ruth, at the age of eighteen, married Mancil Allison Dickson December 23, 1944, in Overton, Texas. Children are daughter, Margie Ann Hammond and husband John Hammond of Plano, Texas; deceased son, Ricky Allison Dickson; and daughter Melissa Anyse Haden and husband Michael Haden of Tatum, Texas. Grandchildren are Shayne Allison Silvertooth, Shawna Anyse Burger, and Madelyn Anyse Haden. Great-grandchildren are Brenna Ann Arthur, Mia Angelee Silvertooth, and Bentley Raye Burger.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 26, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, Texas. There will be a Remembrance Gathering after the graveside services at the home of Michael and Melissa Haden in Tatum from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
