Funeral services for Ruth W. Beck, age 88 of Henderson, will be held Thursday July 31, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Grange Hall Cemetery in Marshall..
Ruth was born on November 19, 1925 in Marshall to Fred Irvin & Maggie Ruth Wheeler, and died Friday July 25, 2014 in Henderson. Mrs. Beck had worked at Marshall National Bank for many years, and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, her parents, her brothers ,Fred Irvin Wheeler, and Emory Wheeler, sisters, Grace Enola Harper, and Adele Stuart.
She is survived by her daughter Claudia Vanis and husband Harrell of Good Springs, grandson Charles Vanis of Tyler, granddaughter, Victoria Morrow, and husband Thomas of Tyler, great granddaughter Madeline McLeroy of Tyler, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from1pm until 2pm before the service.
