Ruth Sparlin Auten
Ruth Sparlin Auten, 97, of Gladewater, passed away Friday April 25, 2008 in Longview.
She was born October 5, 1910 in Madill, Oklahoma to Harve and Lottie Martin Sparlin.
She had resided in Gladewater since the 1930's, and owned Autens 24 hour service station and Package Store with her late husband George Auten.
At her request there will be no formal service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
