Russell McDade Bush
Russell McDade Bush died peacefully January 2, 2012, in Longview, Texas.  He was born August 24, 1928, in Jackson, Mississippi to Russell McDade and Stella Crawford Bush.
Mr. Bush served in the U. S. Army Air Force in the South Pacific from 1946-1949.  He was very active in community affairs serving as Chief of the Henderson Rescue Unit, Volunteer Fireman and Executive member/Past President of the East Texas Rifle and Pistol Club.  He spent over 40 years in Masonry and was Past Master of the Clinton Lodge #23 in Henderson and current member of the Pine Tree Lodge #1398.  He retired from Southwestern Electric Power Company after 31 years of service in the Henderson and Marshall community.  He was an active member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church where he had many close friends.
Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Bush.  He is survived by his three daughters, Marjorie Reynolds and husband Wayne Reynolds, Laura McCarter and husband Gary McCarter and Carol Morrison and husband Doug Morrison and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  The family expresses sincere loving appreciation of his long time friend, Gary Ashmore and his family.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Memory Park Mausoleum.  Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
