My heart goes out to each of you at the loss of Russell. I met Russell at Arabella in Longview. He was always smiling, friendly and always taking care of everyone around him. Many times I saw him stop eating to help one of the ladies settle into their chair or keep them from falling. Such a gentleman and I miss seeing him so much. I always got a chuckle when I would see him sweeten his lemonade with several packs of sweet-n-low. He did love sweet lemonade!! I’m so glad I was able to cross paths with Russell. He sure loved his family and of course those Dallas cowboys! Love, Shelly
Mr. Russell was a stand up guy while he was with us at Arabella. He always kept a smile and he kept us smiling! You sir will be truly missed and keep them smiling in heaven! Don't stop cheering those Cowboys on good man because they hear it Mr Russell!

Whereas, in God's holy wisdom He has sent an angel into our midst and called home our classmate and friend (Russell Oarl Haynes). As we morn (Russell) demise we know that God has called (him) to a new and larger life. He has left an emptiness in the Class of 1963, that can’t be filled. But God knows, He makes no mistakes.
Whereas, Many years ago our paths crossed as students. Friendships and relationships were formed that will be with us the rest of our lives. We thank God for the privilege and opportunity of having shared in the life of (Russell), as we knew him. Russell also had a compassion, and understanding spirit that most don't possess,
May God Bless and keep his family and give you added strength to see each new tomorrow with all of his memories you have gain through the years.
