Ruby Suber's Obituary
Ruby Madean Suber, age 93, left this earth for her Heavenly home on January 9, 2021. Born on May 23, 1927, in Henderson, Texas, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Boyd Suber, parents, Percy and Estelle Wade, one sister, Lillian Spence, and one brother, Fred Wade.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Jayson) Heath of Gladewater, Texas, and Janet (Bob) Lesikar of Waxahachie, Texas. Her grandchildren, Jennifer (Johnny) Eaves, Eric (Misty) Heath, Tori (Ryan) Lesikar-Brandel and Trent (Laura) Lesikar. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Jaci (BJ) Beason, and great great granddaughter, Brinley Beason.
Mrs. Suber was a lifelong Texas resident. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Henderson, TX, where she sang in the choir, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her church, her family, singing, sewing and crocheting. At the time of her death, she resided in Legend Oaks Healthcare, in Waxahachie, TX. “Ms Ruby”, as she was known, was loved and adored by residents and staff. The staff lovingly called her, “my baby”, or Queen Ruby. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a private family graveside at Duncan Cemetery in Henderson, TX on Thursday, January 14.
