Ruby Snelgrove Stone's Obituary
Funeral services for Ruby Snelgrove Stone, 93, of Henderson will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2006 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Ricks, Rev. D.L. Stewart, and Rev. Danny Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stone died Tuesday, June 15, 2006, in a Henderson hospital.
She was born February 12, 1913 in Rusk County, Texas and had been a life long resident. She was a former school teacher and owned and operated Hiway Flower Shop in Henderson for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Henderson.
Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stone, and a grandson, Rickey Harris.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Harris of Henderson; two sisters, Ethel Patterson of Humble and Nita Prior of Henderson; two grandchildren, Teresa Stewart and husband Mark of Henderson, and Debbie Miley and husband Dwayne of Henderson; four great grandchildren, Cesaley, Colton, Deedee, and Heidi.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
