Ruby Mae Potter
Funeral services for Ruby Mae Potter, 77, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Thursday November 21, 2002 at Hallsville First United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Hageman officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Potter passed away Tuesday morning November 19, 2002 in a Longview hospital.
She was born September 9, 1925 in Marshall to John A. and Lillie Mae Dickenson and had been a resident of Longview since 1961. She worked as a secretary for Fuller Insurance Co. and later was a teacher?s aide for L.I.S.D.. She also was a homemaker and a member of the Hallsville First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Potter was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Vinson Potter of Longview; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Robert Womack of Longview, Gayle and Robert Tutt of Longview; grandchildren and their spouses, Wendy and John David Hunter, Wade and Rebecca Womack, Tiffany Tutt, Trent and Karrie Tutt; great grandchildren, Kylie McNabb, Trinity Tutt, Zackary Hunter, Nathan Hunter, Jacob Womack, Branson Prior, Daniel Pror; and a sister and brother-in-law Florence and Charles Farnham.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM this evening at the funeral home.
