Cryptside services for Ruby Hughes of Longview will be held at Two O?clock Monday December 18, 2006 at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Reverend Richard Pruitt officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Hughes was born in Gregg County and worked for Brookshire?s Grocery Company for twenty-five years. Ruby was truly ?the heart and soul? of Brookshires in Longview. She began working as a cashier, quickly moving to office management and organizing floral design displays and food sampling demonstrations in different locations in a two- state area. She was a member of the Mobberly Baptist Church.
She is survived by her nephews, Joe Piccola of Greenwood, Missouri, David Pace of Nevada, Texas, Monty Pace of San Angelo, Texas, nieces, Sharon Piccola Hall of Arlington, Texas, Kitty Pace Schwartz of San Antonio, Texas, great nephew, Bennie Piccola of Tyler, Texas and several cousins.
There will be a visitation from 1 pm until 2 pm at Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel on Monday December 18, 2006.
