Rua V. Moore's Obituary
Funeral services for Rua V. ?Pop? Moore, 84, of Longview will be 10AM Thursday in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Starr officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Wednesday 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. Moore died Monday, March 7, at Pine Tree Lodge Nursing Home.
He was born March 31, 1920, in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Henry and Bertha Moore. He was an employee of Trailmobile, Inc. until his retirement and was a member of 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Moore, His granddaughter, Terre Harrell, and his grandsons Tim Harrell and Robert Childers.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law: Lou Jean and Willie Harrell of Longview, son and daughter in law: James and Kathi Moore of San Antonio, grandson: James B. Moore of Austin, granddaughter: Kasey Moore of Longview and his pride and joy, his great grandson: Tim ?T. J.? Harrell, Jr.
Mr. Moore lived a long and full life. He called himself a ?Jack of all trades and Master of none.? He will be deeply missed by all who love him. Memorials may be made to Greater Hospice of Longview.
