Royce Edward Lackey's Obituary
Royce Edward Lackey died Sat. Oct. 14th in Arlington, Tx. He was born Nov. 14th, 1923 in Lindale, Tx, one of five children born to Bethel and Lula Lackey. He is survived by three children, Ronald and Kris Lackey of Midlothian, Tx., Nancy and Larry Binion of Arlington, Tx., and Jeanette Lackey of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Olene Rabeck of Arlington, TX. He worked for Pacific Finance in Tyler, Tx, prior to moving to Longview in 1959 where he worked for Longview Nat'l Bank until retiring in 1984. He was a member of Alpine Church of Christ since 1959. Services will be at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park.
