Roy Thomas Arnold
Services for Roy Thomas Arnold , 69, of Longview will be held 2 PM Wednesday, February 14th at Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd. with Dr. Pete Freeman officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mr. Thomas died Monday in Longview.
He was born December 16, 1937 at San Augustine, Texas to John and Cammie Elliott Arnold. A resident of Longview for 51 years, Mr. Arnold was a retired installer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was currently employed at Hagler Auto Sales of Longview. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge #404, and had served with the National Guard. Mr. Arnold was a member of the Touch of Class Corvette Club in Longview for which he had served as vice president.
He is survived by his wife Nelda; daughters: Rhonda Keysor and husband, Steve of Greenville, Texas, Donna Dunn of Hallsville, and Christi Jones and husband, Jimmy of Hallsville; grandchildren: Alyssa and Thomas Keysor, Dalton, Jacey and Clint Dunn, Allison and Zane Lawrence, and Laynie Jones; sister, Johnnie Britain of Longview; niece and nephew, Doug Britain and Cheryl Tinsley;
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Tuesday evening 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Memorials may be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, PO Box 190567, Dallas, TX 75219-0567.
