Roy Ronald "Ron" Reese's Obituary
Services for Roy Ronald "Ron" Reese , 59, of Gilmer will be 4 PM Monday, October 21st at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Murdock officiating. Mr. Reese died Thursday, October 17th at his residence.
He was born December 9, 1942 at Richmond, Ohio and had been a resident of the Longview/Gilmer area for 19 years. Ron began working in the construction industry at age 18 and continued doing so until opening a ceramics business several years ago. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. Ron loved collecting things, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. His primary interest and hobby was working which he loved to do.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Gilmer; His daughters: TJ White of Corvallis, Oregon, Tracy Grainger of White Oak, Donna Long of Longview, and Vicki Lancaster and husband, Larry of Longview; grandchildren: Patrick Ronald Grainger, Marisa Long, Jonathan Long, and Travis Lancaster.
Family visitation will be Sunday, October 20th 2 to 4 PM at Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Rd.
