I will never forget how kind Mr. Hensley was to me after my father's passing. I rememeber his compassion, and bringing tissues, along with some water.

Cathy, I just heard of Roy’s passing. Please accept my condolences. He had a generous spirit and it has been a joy to call him a dear friend, for both Michael and I. We spent many working hours/weeks/years at Darr Equipment/HoltCat doing various jobs, projects, training, inventories, etc. It was hard work but somehow Roy almost always had a smile on his face and made the best of circumstances.
I know he was a devoted father and beloved husband . We had lost touch the last couple of years. Sorry I was unaware of his illness. I know you all have wonderful memories of a life well lived.
Unfortunately, we leave for a trip on Tuesday and will be unable to attend the service. May God Bless and fortify you and Brian’s family at this time.
Cathy I am so sorry to hear about Roy. He was such a sweet and kind person. I will be thinking of you in the coming days and praying for God to give you strength and a sense of peace during this time.

I am so sorry Cathy and family! Roy was one of those rare people who made you feel at ease the moment you were around him. I learned so much from him, especially about veterans benefits, and he helped spark my own passion for serving veterans and their families. I always looked forward to his stories (he had so many good ones!) and the Christmas gatherings at the Hensleys’- I can still taste the wassail. He was kind, steady, and had such a gentle way of caring for others. We’re better for having known him. Preston and I will miss Roy so much. He was truly one of a kind.
Cathy, we were so sorry to hear Roy passed… always enjoyed working with Roy at Rader’s where we always made coffee first thing in the morning and caught up on the day’s events… prayers for you and your family as God will give you strength and perseverance in this time of need… We Love you guys as our neighbors down the street and will miss stopping and visiting with Roy!!!
