Roy Clyde Hardin Jr's Obituary
Services for Roy (Clyde) Hardin Jr. will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 12pm. The family would like to welcome friends to visitation held at 10:00AM to 12:00 PM The service will follow immediately after visitation. Clyde went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Clyde was born to loving parents Roy C. and Lucille Hardin on August 16, 1944 in Moro AR. He attended and graduated from T. A. Futrall High School in Marianna AR. Following High School, Roy married the love of his life, Darlene, and started a family. He worked in the flooring industry and even at one time owned his own company by the name Floors and More in Daingerfield TX. Later in life, Roy found a love of NASCAR with his grandson Caden, and also would ride ATVs with anyone who was willing to go with him. Above everything, Clyde was a family man and appreciated camping with all of those that he loved whole heartedly.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. and Lucille Hardin as well as his brother-in-law Darrell Vericker. Those left to cherish their memory include his wife of 51 years, Darlene L. Hardin; children Leon and Christy Hardin of Liberty City, TX. Jeff and Kristi Hardin Fretwell of Longview, TX. Brad and Hether Hardin of Houston, TX. His Grandchildren: Cory Bean, Megan Hardin, Katee Bean, Caden Hardin, Deedee Hardin and Levi Fretwell; great-grandchild Caden Hardin; His sisters Laura Vericker and Richard and Mary Baker as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
