Roy Haase was great at running that grill during the lunch rush! He flipped those burgers and loved every minute of it! I worked for, and with, Roy in the mid ‘70s. He not only taught me how to build a fabulous tasting Whataburger, but also a lot about customer service, mainly “the customer is always right”. Even as a young person at the time, I was impressed by Roy’s passion for his business, his customers, and his family. I’ve had contact with Roy and his wonderful Phyllis even after my Whataburger days and know that Roy was a loving and generous man devoted to family and community. Roy Haase, may you rest in peace!##imported-begin##Anita Smith##imported-end##
