Roy Don Blanton's Obituary
Funeral services for Roy D. Blanton will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Word of Faith Church in Longview TX. Roy was called to the Lord in the late evening of March 13, 2021 at his home in Longview surrounded by his family.
Roy was born in Dallas TX on September 22, 1953 to parent Raymond and Christine Blanton. Roy joined the air force, where he faithfully served his country until 1993. He married his wife, Joan on February 13, 1999. They were married for 22 wonderful years. Roy was a faithful Christian who had a passionate love for Christ.
Roy is survived by his wife Joan Blanton; 4 sons, Joseph Ainsworth, Kimble “KC” Ainsworth, James Ainsworth, Levi Moore, 2 daughters Cheri Bradley, and Shande Johnson. Roy is also going to be remembered by his numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
