Roy A. Miller
Funeral services for Roy A. Miller, 76, of Longview will be held at Four O?clock pm Wednesday January 14, 2004 at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Mark Horner officiating. Interment will be in Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mr. Miller passed away Sunday January 11, 2004.
He was born June 12, 1927 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Leo and Grace Miller. He was retired from the U. S. Navy having served during World War 11. He also graduated from Texas A&M University. He has lived in Longview since 1933 and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he was active in the Choir.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Miller of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Donald Wood of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirley Miller of Brattleboro, Vermont; five nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Judy Lynn Miller Mead, a infant son and a brother Joe Miller.
The family will receive friends at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Wednesday January 14, 2004 from 3 pm until 4 pm.
Memorials may be made to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Choir or Meals on Wheels.
