Memorial Graveside services for Rosie Day, 62, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock am Monday August 29, 2005 at the Gage Cemetery near Laneville, Texas with Jim Kale, Sr. Officiating. Burial will follow in Gage Cemetery near Laneville, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Day passed away Monday August 22, 2005 in Longview.
Mrs. Day was born January 7, 1943 in Longview, Texas to Willie and Juanita Caffee. She had resided in Longview all of her life. She was a seamstress and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the East Mountain Police Support Group and the Women?s Association, and Emergency Management. She was a 1961 graduate of Longview High School and also Kilgore College. She was the first woman to take agriculture courses at Kilgore College. She also attended Texas School of Nursing in Tyler. She also loved horses and dog.
She married Jimmy Earl Repp in 1968 and married Robert Neal Day in 1973.
She is survived by her son, Jim Day of Longview, TX. Sheri Cox, brother-in-law, Jim Kale, Sr. of Marshall, TX. sister-in-law, Butch Caffee of Lancaster, TX.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jimmy Earl Repp and Robert Neal Day, a son, Bill Day, sister, Loretta Kale and a brother, Bill Caffee.
