Rosemary Garner Markham's Obituary
Funeral services for Rosemary Garner Markham, 84, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Monday, November 1, 2010, at Longview Missionary Baptist Church in Longview with Pastors Nathan Rogers and Tony Harp officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Rosemary passed away Thursday evening in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:30 ? 6:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home.
Rosemary was born on August 20, 1926, in Longview. Prior to her marriage to E.P. Red Markham in December 1956, she worked at the Gregg County Courthouse in the District Clerk?s Office. Rosemary loved the Lord and taught Sunday school for many years. She and her husband dedicated themselves to creating a Christian home. Rosemary was a member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church. Her family dearly loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Walter Garner, her mother, Mae Phillips Garner Sherman, and her brother, Herschel Garner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, E.P. Red Markham of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jo Angela Markham of Lago Vista, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Rose Ann and Doug Bremenkamp of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Quentin Bremenkamp and Kelcey Rose Bremenkamp of Gulfport, MS, and Madeline Markham and Jake Markham of Lago Vista, TX.
