Rosalie Fisher
On September 20, 2008, Rosalie Fisher, 76, of Longview, was called home by her Savior and Lord after a long battle with brain cancer.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Judson Road Church of Christ, 1203 Judson Road, with Tyler Sams officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery on Brentwood. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Radar Funeral Home.
Rosalie Fisher was born May 19, 1932 in Tallulah, La. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, five sisters, two sons and one daughter. She loved flowers, gardening, oil painting and sewing. Her idea of a perfect day was spending time enjoying nature, whether it was on the beach, by a lake, or in the woods, she loved the outdoors.
She was blessed in life with many friends but her Brothers and Sisters in Christ held a special place in her heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Townsend of Longview; Carol Dusey and spouse, Mukund, of Livermore, CA; Lisa Desautels and spouse, Gary, of Marquez, TX; sons, Glenn Townsend of Longview, and Charles Malcolm Fisher of Bryan, TX; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
