Rosalie Adams' Obituary
Graveside services for Rosalie "Rose" Adams, 89, of Longview, will be 10 AM Thursday, July 14, at Crims Chapel Cemetery, Hiway 322, Henderson, TX with Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Crims Chapel Cemetery. The family will greet friends Wednesday, July 13, from 6 to 8 PM at Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
Mrs. Adams passed away on Monday, July 11, in a local nursing facility.
She was born in Fostoria, Texas, to Hugh and Mattie Reusch Speights on April 28, 1922. She was employed by the Downtowner Hotel and Denny's Corporation for 28 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother: T. H. Speights, Jr., and sisters: Vertie King, Ruby Harris, Kathryn Nichols and Frankie Craig.
Those left to cherish her memories are daughters: Beverly Gary Leidecker of Longview, Carla Ray Madden of Gladewater, TX and sons: Rick Jennifer Adams of Longview and LeGrande Kenna Adams of Ormand Beach, FL. She is also survived by six 6 Grandchildren and four 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Odyssey Hospice, 112 E. Line St., Suite 100, Tyler, Texas 75702 or charity of your choice.
