Ronald Waits' Obituary
Ronald Waits was born July 1, 1936 in Rusk County. He was called to be with his Heavenly Father on March 12, 2018 following a long illness. Survived by Sue Waits, loving wife of 58 years, son Bob Waits and daughter-in-law Mary Waits, daughter Jamie Kirkpatrick and son-in-law Lance Kirkpatrick, brother Jerome Waits and sister-in-law Elva Lee Waits. Grandchildren include Whitney Waits, Sean Waits, and Ryan Waits.
Ronald retired from Texas Eastman after 25 years of service. He loved camping, fishing, and bowling. He also enjoyed sports and was a loyal Lobo fan. He was an ordained deacon at Maxey Acres Baptist Church where he helped minister to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be today, Wednesday March 14 at 10am, in the chapel at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with interment to follow the service at Rosewood Park.
