To our cherished friends, there are no words or any way for us to feel your pain but I can tell you that we are hurting for you and we all loved Destry very much. He was always so quick with a smile and we will always miss him, but remember him with fondness and love in our hearts. The Lord called an Angel home on May 18th. How proud He must be having Destry in Heaven. I am almost certain that He has already said..."my son..well done". That is how we feel about you Des, you did it all and did it well. It was our blessing to call you and your sweet adorable wife and girls, our family. One phrase you always said to Kevin (Big Papa) was " I got this" whenever we tried to one up you on supper or a drink, it never mattered to you, you always got it. You were such a giver of hope, laughter, strength, advice and most of all Love. We miss you terribly but know we will meet again on the other side.
Christy you are never alone. We love you and are always here for you and your girls.

I haven't seen Destry since he was a little boy when he would come to N.C. to visit his Grandmothers family. My prayers with all the family God Bless.Love from the Griffin Family.
I have known Destry since he started working in the oil and gas industry and he will be missed by everyone. I know he is in a better place now and no more worries. I hope the best for his family and God bless each one.

My family and I have had the honor of having Destry and his family in our lives for many years. We have shared many motorcycle trips, vacations, holidays, nights of karaoke....some of the best times of our lives include Destry and Christy. He will be greatly missed, but will live forever in our hearts and memories.
We did not know you for very long. what we did know of you was -that you were a good person and always kind to us . and we know how much you were loved by our friends. that shows what kind of person you were and I wish we could have known you longer.
