Ronald Kay Frey's Obituary
Ron was born August 19, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. to Leo and Lillian Frey. He departed his earthly life on April 8, 2017 due to complications of Agent Orange exposure from his tour of duty in Vietnam in 1967-68.
Ron worked in the grocery business for over forty years, working the majority of those years for
Safeway and later for Kroger.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Judy, and his children Carrie (Jake) Carter and Phillip Frey. He is also survived by the light of his life, grandson Kaden Carter. Other survivors include his twin, Donald (Cindy) Frey, sister Elizabeth Frey, brothers-in-law Bill Swartz and Donald (Deb) Swartz. Additionally, he is survived by his devoted friend, Danny (Gunny) Whyte, his Vietnam service brothers and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at Radar Funeral Home in Longview with services to be conducted later at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family requests that remembrances be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
