Ronald "Ron" Fitzgerald's Obituary
Ronald “Ron” Fitzgerald, age 79, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born on December 28, 1945, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to James and Gertrude Fitzgerald.
Ron was an electrician by trade, however, due to his abilities he excelled in any endeavor, working hard to provide for his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Marilyn Berry, children: Angie Grace and her husband Phil, Rhonda Willson and her husband Ashley, and James Fitzgerald, and his wife Teresa; Ronald was also the proud grandfather to Kyle Grace, Kelsey Grace, Hyatt and Lindsey McMurrey, Lane and Amber Davis, and Zac Endsley. His legacy will continue through his great-grandchildren: Addilyn Grace, Makensie Grace, Jenabee Grace, Ryleigh Davis, and Kennady McMurrey. Ron is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol Fitzgerald
Ron's parents, sister, Myra Cooper and her husband Charlie, brothers, Jim Fitzgerald and his wife Joyce and Howard Fitzgerald, all precede him in passing.
Family and friends will gather to honor Ronald’s life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Chaplain Paul Bryant will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice of Mt Pleasant, Tx.
Though Ronald may have left this earth, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, forever cherished and remembered with love.
