Ronald E. Pfeffer
Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald E. Pfeffer, 65, of Longview will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Longview with Father Bruce Lincom officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday prior to the Mass at St. Anthony. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park. He passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Pfeffer was born August 15, 1940 in Jasper, Indiana, to Revard John and Constance Pfeffer, and had been a resident of Longview for the past 3 years. He moved to Longview from Rockdale, Texas, where he retired as an accountant for Alcoa after 33 years service. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Pfeffer was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Roman Everett Pfeffer.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Susan Pfeffer of Longview; children, Revard Pfeffer and wife Suellen of Kilgore, Kristi Pierson and husband Michael of Katy, TX, and Keith Pfeffer of Longview; 4 grandchildren, Lauren and Reagan Pfeffer and Ryan and Reid Pierson; mother, Constance Pfeffer of Jasper, Indiana; sisters, Carol Hedinger, Beverly Werner and Brenda Alles all of Jasper, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Gregg North Unit, PO Box 906, Longview, Texas 75606; The Ronald McDonald Children?s Charity, PO Box 827, Longview, TX 75606; or to a charity of choice.
