I'm so sorry I missed seeing that Ron passed away. We have been to the funerals of two of my in-laws in the past three weeks and I just missed it. We all knew it was coming but it was still a shock. Ron was such a nice guy. He only had one serious lapse of judgment and that was going to OU instead of OSU, but hey, we'll give him one.

I was unable to attend the class reunion because of health reasons and am really sorry I missed seeing Ron. As chairman of the reunion committee for many years I could always count on Ron for support.He always managed to slip an extra dollar or two in the envelope and would remind me "if you need more let me know". We, all of his old classmates, share your grief at losing our dear friend. Ron and I and many others went through school from Pre-Primary all the way through graduation from Daniel Webster High School in 1953. It was so good to see him at our last reunion just a few weeks ago. We all knew what a struggle it was for him to make the trip. And we will never forget his love of life and his love for his family, friends, and his animals. To see him so enjoying our reunion did all of us as much good as it did him.
