Ronald Edward Duncan Sr.'s Obituary
Graveside services for Ronald Duncan Sr. will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11am on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Mr. Duncan went to be with the Lord in the late evening of Saturday, July 25 in Longview, TX.
Ronald Duncan was born on December 16, 1940 in Coleman TX to parents Romey and Inez Duncan. He worked for many years with the Longview Water Treatment Plant; later retiring from the White Oak Treatment Plant. In retirement, Ronald was an avid fan of Lobo Football, and would often be seen at their games or doing yard work.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Romey and Inez; his wife of over 30 years, June Duncan; and his son, Michael Ray Duncan. Those left to cherish their memories of Ronald include his son, Ronald Duncan Jr. and his wife Claudia of Kilgore; daughter Tracy Green and her husband David of Austin TX; step-daughter Wanda Barber and her husband Ronnie of Longview; grandchildren Sabrina Presley of Hallsville, Cody Duncan of Fargo ND, Crystal Lopez of Hallsville, Brandon Lopez of Kilgore, Corey Dawber and Josh Dawber of New Zealand; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
