Ronald Ray Boulware's Obituary
Ronald Ray Boulware, 81, of Longview, Texas passed away on June 23, 2023, succumbing to kidney disease.
Ronald was born on November 9, 1941 to John and Nila Boulware in Dallas, Texas. He lived his life in the Dallas area until 1996, when he moved to Sugar Hill, Georgia and returned back to Texas in 2005, living first in Newton, Texas, and finally moving to Longview, Texas in 2020. In his active years he was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the community Food Bank and a church group called Sawdust Servants.
Ronald loved the Lord and gave his life to Jesus at First Baptist Church of Urbandale, Dallas, Texas. He loved to sing the old hymns and enjoyed memberships at churches wherever he lived. His church letter is at First Baptist, Newton. Unfortunately, the COVID lockdowns and declining health kept him from moving his membership to a Longview church. But he is no doubt present with the Lord today and singing in heaven’s choir.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, John K. Boulware, mother Nila Boulware, infant sister Anna Colene Boulware, brother Bobby W. Boulware and brother-in-law Joe Doyle. He is survived by his sister Kay Doyle, sister Linda Drews and husband Edward, and sister-in-law Beth Boulware.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas TX.
