Ron Scott Shamburger's Obituary
Services for Ron Scott Shamburger, 30, of Longview will be 11 AM Saturday, September 21, 2002 at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Hallsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 20, from 7-8:30 PM.
Ron was born November 11, 1971 in Amarillo, Texas to Dacell and Lynell Shamburger. He had lived in the area for 20 years , was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and a student.
He is survived by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Deena and Leonard Prater of Marietta, GA.; brother, Jeremy Shamburger of Longview; paternal grandparents, Bobbie and Lee Shamburger of Winnsboro, TX; great grandmother, Opal Ross of Winnsboro, TX; uncles, Ross Shamburger and wife D?Ann of Lubbock, Carey Shamburger and wife, Paula of Deer Park, TX, Kyle Shamburger and wife, Peggy of Deer Park, TX, Rex Shoulders and wife , Lisa of Sadler, TX and 8 cousins.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Missions Fund or Playground Fund; Southwestern Diabetic Foundation, PO Box 918, Gainesville, TX 76241 or to the Texas Lion?s Camp for Crippled Children, PO Box 290247, Kerrville, TX, 78029-0247.
