Roland G. Fechner's Obituary
Graveside services for Roland G. Fechner of Palo Alto, California will be held 2 PM Friday, February 4th at Memory Park Cemetery with Rev. John Sewell officiating. Mr. Fechner was born October 23, 1937 in Longview and and died Friday, January 28, 2005 in Los Gatos, California. He was raised in the Longview area and attended public schools in Pine Tree and Longview. He graduated from high school in Santa Fe, New Mexico and attended college at the California Institute of Technology where he received a degree in engineering. He worked for P.G.&E. and Stanford University. Roland was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed reading and collecting antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Catherine Fechner of Longview. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Doris Fechner of Longview; his niece and her husband, Sherri and Keith Morgan of Longview; and Shannon Chamberland Humphrey, Jason and Holly Morgan, and Beaux and Blake Chamberland.
