Roger Lee Richmond's Obituary
Roger Lee Richmond, 64, of Longview was born April 7, 1939 in Advance, Missouri to Leamon and Kathleen Richmond. He had lived in the Longview area since 1965. Roger was an insurance agent and owned Roger Richmond Insurance Company and Attorney's Insurance Marketplace, Inc. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Pine Tree Masonic Lodge and Sharon Temple.
Mr. Richmond died Sunday morning, June 15, at a local medical facility. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening , June 16 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, June 17, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. with Reverend Jay McCasland officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Inell Scott Richmond of Longview; daughters, Deborah Jester of Hallsville, Leigh Richmond of East Mountain, TX; stepsons, Jim Scott and wife Barbara of Memphis, TN and their son, Christian, Kevin Jay Scott of Rowlett, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Marty Richmond of Longview, grandchildren, Cullen Park of Hallsville and Jason Jester of Hallsville; nephews, Scott and Shawn Richmond of Dallas.
