Roger A. Masters
Mass of Christian Burial for Roger A. Masters, 56, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 17, 2003 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Gavin Vaverek officiating. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park?s Garden of Crucifixion under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Masters was born on January 30, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Willis and Vera Masters. He was born into eternal life on October 14, 2003 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Roger graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee before serving in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973. He then graduated from Texas A & M University where he received a degree in Chemical Engineering. He retired from Texas Eastman. He was a member of the St. Mary?s Choir and the Knights of Columbus.
A loving son, husband, and father, Mr. Masters is survived by his loving wife, Pam Masters of Longview, daughters, Sarah and Joie~Lisa Masters of Longview, son, David Masters of Austin, his parents, as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening, October 16, 2003 at the funeral home.
