Robert W. Cashen, Sr.'s Obituary
Graveside services for Robert W. Cashen, Sr, 80, of Longview, will be 1 PM Thursday, May 4, 2006, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Interment will follow in DFW National Cemetery.
Mr. Cashen died Sunday evening in a Longview Hospital.
A native of Peoria, Illinois, he was born May 30, 1925 and was a construction contractor. He was a member of the Catholic church and had served his country in the US Navy aboard LCI #658 during WW II and served in Korea.
He is survived by his wife: Betty of Longview; sons: Rick of Fairview and Bob of Mobile, Alabama; sister: Pat Robitski of Marquette Heights, Ill; three 3 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Gloria.
