Dear Brenda, Bobby and Beverly - Coach Woodall and Foster Junior High are synonymous in my mind. I can't think of one without thinking of the other. What an impact your dad made on so many of our lives back in 1963! Another favorite memory of your wonderful family....camping and water skiing in the summer of 1966 at Lake of the Pines. It was always evident that Bob Woodall was a devoted father and husband and that his family was number one in his life. In talking with Jetta and Brenda, I know that didn't change as the Woodall family increased in size...what a legacy he has left behind! May each of you find comfort in your memories of your dad, father-in-law and grandfather.

Dear Mrs Woodall, Brenda, and family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Coach Woodall. He was one of the greatest influences in my life.

He taught me so many lessons about life. I will never forget his wisdom which he so eagerly shared with so many.

I had full intentions of visiting him while he was at Hawkins Creek. This only proves when you want to see those you love you must act as you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Coach Woodall was my favorite. I have memories of him walking the halls at Foster with his big paddle. He acted tough but he was a sweety. And cared very much about all of us---class of 73##imported-begin##Suzanne Collier##imported-end##

Betty, Bobby, Jetta, Brenda, Monnie, Beverly, ... and all of 'em, I was saddened but not surprised to hear of the Coach's passing. I'm sorry for you but I'm so happy for him. I know he's in a better place now. He was truly one of the "old school" characters, a person who believed in accountabilty and one who adhered to morals without wearing it on his sleeve with a "holier than thou" tint. I had the privilege of fearing him as a youth and respecting him as an adult, despite his blatant disregard for the rainbow trout fishing limits of the streams and lakes in Colorado the bounty of which he shared with me on more than one occasion. Betty, Bobby, Brenda, and Beverly,

How many truly wonderful memories I have stored of our families together. Your home was always a warm and happy place for a child, and I loved being there. Your father welcomed me and always accepted me no matter what. He was like part of my extended family, and understood what it was like to grow and change. He never judged us, but loved us all, and was ready with a hug no matter how many months or years had passed. I will miss his smile and laugh, but am so glad that he touch me with his grace.
