Services Robert Edward ?Bob? Brabham, 18, of Longview, will be held at Noon Wednesday, July 21, 2004 with the Reverend Jonathan Jehorek and Dr. W.D. ?Bill? O?Neal officiating. The service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Longview, 400 North Fredonia, due to construction at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.
Robert was born on March 24, 1986 in Longview to David and Beverly Wheeler Brabham. He passed away early Sunday morning, July 18, 2004 in Longview from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Robert attended Longview schools before transferring to the Trinity School of Texas during his junior year. He was a 2004 Trinity graduate and was accepted and planning to attend Texas A&M in the fall of this year. He was also a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Longview.
A loving son, brother, grandson, and friend, Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herb and Eadie Brabham, and Sam and Grace Wheeler; and one uncle, Robert Edward Brabham. He is survived by his parents; sister, Adrienne Brabham of Longview; grandmother, Polly Brabham of Longview, aunts and uncles, Shirley and Chuck Ciancio of CA., Sandra Owens of Hallsville, Janelle Dalby of San Antonio, Lucy and Randy Sarrett of Texarkana, Becky and Tim DiSette of Kansas City, KS.; great uncle, Edward Mortara of Boca Raton, FL.; as well as numerous cousins and special friends.
?Robert captured our hearts with his charm, wit, enthusiasm, and zest for life. The twinkle in his eyes and grin on his face were contagious. Robert taught us to explore the fullness of life while loving and enjoying his friends and family. He will not be forgotten!?
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in the funeral home chapel.
